Thought chemtrails were nonsense until my uncle in Bakersfield showed me his soil test
I always laughed at my uncle when he talked about chemtrails, figured it was just classic tinfoil hat stuff. Then two years ago he showed me soil samples from his farm in Bakersfield with aluminum levels way higher than normal. I did some digging myself and found a 2016 study from a university in California that showed similar results across 12 different sites. It still doesn't prove the planes are spraying us, but I can't just dismiss it like I used to. Anyone else look into the soil data, or know a better source than random YouTube videos?

Did you check if the study actually tested for background levels at those same sites going back decades? That's the part that always gets me with this stuff. Soil aluminum can spike from all kinds of normal things, like if a farmer switched fertilizer brands or there was erosion from a nearby road project. A single snapshot in 2016 doesn't tell you much unless you have years of data from the exact same spots to compare it to. Your uncle should try getting his soil tested by a lab that isn't tied to either side of the debate, since some of those independent labs will literally just tell you whatever you want to hear.
