Spent 4 hours tracing a phantom pipe noise before finding the culprit
A slow drip in my basement wall kept me up for a week. Turned out a loose washer in the hot water line was vibrating against a stud at certain pressures. Has anyone else dealt with a sound that seemed to come from nowhere?
