Overheard someone at a coffee shop say the moon landings were faked in a soundstage... what do you guys actually think?

Was grabbing a latte in Portland last week and this guy was going on and on about how all the moon footage was shot in a studio. He claimed the shadows in the photos don't match up. I never really dug into it myself but it got me curious. Is there any real debate on this or is it just a dead conspiracy?

Oh MAN, that reminds me of the time my uncle bought a box of "space junk" at an auction and inside was this weird, super dense piece of metal. @betty_fisher5 you might get a kick out of this, but he STILL insists it was from a satellite or something, even though it's probably just a chunk of an old engine block. Stuff like that always makes me wonder how many real artifacts are sitting in someone's garage right now, totally unrecognized.
