Overheard my neighbor say the moon landings were faked in a desert in Nevada

He pointed at the sky and said NASA used a secret soundstage near Area 51. I asked him what about the rocks they brought back, and he just laughed. Has anyone else run into someone who has a specific location for a fake moon landing?

My neighbor Dave got deep into the whole flat earth thing for a solid six months. He painted his fence like a map of the world and kept trying to get me to look at the horizon from his back porch with a special level. His wife just rolled her eyes and told me it beat him yelling at the TV during football season. Once he figured out how to fix his own lawnmower from watching YouTube, he dropped the whole conspiracy thing and moved on to woodworking.
