My uncle swore the moon landing was fake until I showed him one photo from his own attic
He came over for dinner in March and spent 40 minutes on his usual speech about Stanley Kubrick, so I pulled out a box of his old Apollo-era newspaper clippings he gave me years ago and one of them had the exact telemetry numbers NASA published that day. He went quiet, then admitted he had never actually read the papers he saved. Has anyone else changed a family member's mind on something like this, or did it just make things weird?
