I used to think the moon landing stuff was all crazy talk

I mean, I always figured the flat earth people were just joking around. But then my buddy showed me this old documentary from the 70s, 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon', and it took me like three hours to watch because I kept pausing to check the clips they showed against NASA's own footage. Some of the lighting in that command module just looks wrong, idk. Maybe it's just me, but has anyone else gone down that rabbit hole and come out unsure?

The film editing tech back then was pretty basic, so weird lighting could just be a camera trick. Those old documentaries often cut clips in ways that change the context completely. It's less about space and more about how easy it is to edit film to tell a different story.

Exactly, editing shapes the story.

You're hitting on something really important here. It's scary how much power editors have to change what we see and believe. A few cuts can turn facts into fiction without anyone noticing. Makes you question everything you watch, especially those old docs that feel like history lessons. How do we even know what's real anymore?
