Hit 100,000 miles on my 2002 Honda Civic last Tuesday
I was just driving to the grocery store in Austin when the odometer rolled over to 100,000. That car has never had a major repair, just oil changes and tires. It made me wonder how many of those "planned obsolescence" claims are real or just bad maintenance. Has anyone else had a car go way longer than people said it would?

100k on an old Honda isn't exactly shocking...

100k on ANYTHING is a LOT of miles and you're lucky it's still running.

100k on a Honda is barely broken in honestly. Those things will go 200k plus if you just change the oil and don't beat on them. I've seen plenty of old Accords and Civics pushing 250k on the original engine and transmission. The real magic is how cheap they are to keep going too. Parts are everywhere and anyone with a basic socket set can fix most things. What model Honda are we talking about here?
