Heard a wild theory about chemtrails at the gas station last night...

Guy in a beat up Ford F150 started telling me the white lines in the sky are actually for population control through heavy metals. I laughed it off at first but he showed me this 2012 EPA document about aluminum oxide testing... seemed legit but I don't know. The other side says it's just normal plane exhaust and water vapor. Which side has the better evidence here, I'm stuck on this one.
