Barista in Tulsa flipped my whole flat earth take

I was waiting on a latte last Tuesday and this barista saw my flat earth diagram on my phone, she just laughed and said 'you think the horizon curves because of the glass, not the planet.' She pointed at the window and I couldnt shake that, now I'm rechecking every reflection and refraction claim I've built my map on. Has anyone else had a random stranger's offhand joke actually punch a hole in their whole model?
