Am I the only one who looks up the original news piece when a conspiracy pops up?

I grab the first article from when the story broke. It helps me see what facts got twisted later on.

Tried to find that original 2017 article last week and fell down a three hour rabbit hole about local zoning laws instead. So maybe I'm not great at it.
