Tried a new spray-on curing compound from a trade show and it ruined a whole driveway pour
I saw a demo at the Midwest Concrete Expo and bought a case of their 'Quick-Cure Pro' for about $300. It left a weird, sticky film that trapped moisture and caused major surface crazing on a 20x30 slab. What's your go-to curing method that won't let you down?

Actually, that sticky film can be a good thing, it means it's sealing in the moisture for a proper cure. You probably just applied it too thick, which is an easy fix. Those trade show products are usually fine if you follow the directions.

Oh man, that's rough! Theabennett has a point about thickness, but a sticky film that traps too much moisture sounds like a bad mix. I'd stick with a simple plastic sheet or a basic curing compound from a brand you trust.

Woah wait, you actually think that sticky mess is a good thing? No offense but that sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. If I saw a gooey film like that on my slab I'd be grabbing a pressure washer ASAP. Thick or thin, that stuff shouldn't feel tacky after a day or two. Trade show products are hit or miss anyway, half the time they're just rebranded garbage with a fancy sticker on it.
