Thinking about how we used to mix small batches by hand in a wheelbarrow...
We did a garage floor last fall where the owner insisted on a bag mix, and the finish was just okay. The next week, we had a truck for a similar job and the difference in workability and final strength was night and day. Anyone else find it almost impossible to get a truly good finish without a ready-mix truck anymore?

Man, you're absolutely right about that! The truck mix just has way better consistency and that perfect creaminess you can't get from a bag, no matter how careful you are. It's like the bag mix is fighting you the whole time while the truck mix practically works itself.

Honestly, it feels like everything's gone that way. Tbh you see it with paint now too, those little pre-mixed cans never cover like the stuff you get tinted at the counter. Ngl, it's all about cutting corners for convenience, but the end result just isn't the same. The quality you get from the proper, bigger batches is totally different.

Yeah, it's the same with food too. Those pre-made sauces from the store never taste as good as when you make them from scratch. They just skimp on the real ingredients to make it cheaper and last longer.
