Spent 2 hours trying to fix a trowel mark on a wet slab in Denver
I was finishing a small patio job near downtown Denver last Thursday and got this ugly trowel mark right in the middle of the slab. Tried feathering it out with a magnesium float for what felt like forever, but the concrete was already setting up too fast. Finally broke down and used a steel trowel with a bit of water mist, and it smoothed out in like 5 minutes. Anyone else fight with marks this long before giving up?

Tried the water mist trick myself once. Can confirm it works in a pinch. But your mileage may vary with the weather. Denver concrete sets up fast anyway.
