Showerthought: I watched a crew in Boise try to finish a slab that was already too hard, and it clicked for me.
They kept adding water to the surface, which just weakens the top layer, instead of starting earlier when the bleed water was gone and the sheen was right, you know?

Ugh, seen that before. Gotta hit it right when the sheen goes off. Once it's too far, you're just making it worse.
