Replacing my bull float with a truss float changed my finish game in Phoenix

After 12 years of using the same bull float, I switched to a truss float on a 2,400 square foot driveway last month, and the flatness difference was night and day. Has anyone else made that switch, and did you have to adjust your troweling timing afterwards?
