Pro tip on dark spots, skip the hard trowel for a season
Been fighting dark blotchy spots on garage floors for 2 years near Tulsa, tried everything from changing mix to different curing methods. Last spring I switched to a magnesium float and kept the hard trowel in the truck, smooth finish came out uniform every single time. Anyone else ditch the steel trowel completely or am I just lucky with the weather this year?
