Poured a 12x14 slab in Tacoma last Thursday and the finish started tearing on me
We had a 12x14 pad for a shed in Tacoma and the mix showed up about 45 minutes later than I wanted, so it was already starting to set up on me. I got the float on it too early and pulled half the cream off the top, and by the time I hit it with the trowel it was tearing instead of burning smooth. Is there a trick for slowing things down when you know the truck is running behind, or do you just wait it out and hope the sun stays behind the clouds?
