My crew had to finish a patio in Denver last week while a guy's pet peacock kept trying to walk in the wet concrete, lol.
The owner kept yelling 'Reginald, no!' every five minutes, and we had to form a human wall to keep the bird out until we could get a broom handle barrier set up.

That peacock must have thought the wet concrete was a fancy new bird bath. I bet Reginald left some wild footprints in the mud around the edges.

Actually saw a peacock do this once at the zoo. They're pretty careful walkers, left barely any marks.

Wait, are we really saying peacocks are light on their feet? I've watched them strut around my neighbor's yard and those claws dig in like crazy. They leave these deep scratch marks in the dirt and dust everywhere. Maybe the concrete was just stiff enough that the marks didn't show, but I bet if you looked close there was some damage. Birds with those big fancy tails aren't exactly graceful when they step, they have to balance all that weight.
