My 6x6 pad cracked right down the middle after 2 weeks in Phoenix
Poured a 6x6 patio slab outside Scottsdale, 4 inches thick with fiber mesh and 3/8 rebar on 12 inch centers. Cured it with a misting hose every morning for 5 days. Day 12 a hairline showed up, by day 14 it was a full crack from one edge to the other. Looks like the ground underneath wasn't compacted enough, we had a big rain last month that washed out some fill. My question is, can I epoxy inject this and call it good, or should I bust it out and redo it? Has anyone saved a slab that cracked this fast?

Rip it out. Epoxy injection on a crack that wide that fast is just throwing money at a bandaid. The ground moved, it'll move again. Phoenix heat and monsoon season are brutal on slabs, especially with washed out fill. I'd dig out the soft dirt, compact the hell out of it with a plate compactor, and pour again with control joints cut in. Faster now than patching it for years.
