Just realized my edger was the reason my last 3 pour days went sideways
Was on a 40x60 slab pour in Hendersonville on Thursday and the edges started tearing out right when I hit them with the float. Turns out my edger bit had a burr on it from a rock strike I never noticed, so instead of a clean edge I was basically ripping the cream. Swapped to my spare edger and the rest of the run came out fine, cost me about 20 minutes and one very annoyed finisher named Ray. Anyone else check their hand tools between pours or do you just wait until something looks off?
