Heard a homeowner complain about broom finish texture yesterday

Was at a supply house in Spokane picking up fiber mesh. Guy behind the counter was telling the customer our broom lines were too deep and called it 'tire tracks.' Made me wonder - when did everyone get so picky about standard broom finishes? Has anyone else had customers start nitpicking the texture depth lately?

And the thing is broom finish has been good enough for decades, now suddenly everyone's an expert on concrete texture like they're inspecting a countertop.

People act like broomed concrete is some kind of crime scene now lol. Been working fine for ages but everyone's a critic these days.
