Had a guy tell me to wet cure every slab for 7 days straight

Old timer named Dave at the supply yard swore by it. Tried it on a 40 yard driveway last summer and not a single crack showed up compared to the ones I used to do. Anyone else bother with this or just me?

So the old timer Dave was onto something? Seven days seems like a lot of water sitting there. But hey, if it stopped cracks on a 40 yard slab, that's pretty solid proof. I might have to give it a shot on my next big pour.

I mean @vera_roberts has a point but the real trick I found is you gotta keep the plastic on for that full week to trap the moisture in, otherwise it just evaporates off and you're basically wasting your time.
