Swapped thermal paste brands after 15 years and temps dropped 8 degrees

I used Arctic Silver since 2009 on every build, but last month I tried Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut on a Ryzen 7600 and my idle temps went from 42 to 34. Has anyone else switched pastes and seen that big a difference?

Arctic Silver turns into cement after a few years. Took me an hour to scrape it off once.
