Remember when we used to burn boot CDs for every single job...
I sat down yesterday to flash a drive with Rufus and realized it's been years since I touched a physical disc... whole process took maybe 5 minutes instead of 30+ messing with burning speeds and coasters. Anyone else miss the old days or is this just way better?

Funny how we don't talk about the actual boot speed difference anymore. Old disc installs felt like watching paint dry compared to USB3 on a modern board. But there was something satisfying about hearing that laser arm click around and knowing you built the media yourself instead of just dragging files onto a drive. Still, never getting another coasters stack or dealing with scratched discs that made installs fail halfway through. Way better now and it's not even close lol.
