Just hit 50 dead power supplies from one specific brand in the last year

Tbh, I started keeping a log after the 10th one, and the number just kept climbing. They're all from a budget line that a lot of shops in my area use for basic builds. Ngl, it's gotten to the point where I open the case and see that label and just know. Has anyone else seen a failure rate this high with a particular part?

I used to buy those, but 50 failures is insane.

Oh man, it's like everything's built to fail now, isn't it? I swear my parents' old toaster from the 80s is still kicking, but I've gone through three coffee makers in the last five years. It's like they purposely make stuff cheap so you have to buy it again, which is just depressing. And those power supplies, you'd think a company would get the hint after the first 50 returns, but nope, they just keep cranking them out.

You kept a log? Man, I should have done that. My record was seven dead ones in a single month, all from that same "ValuePower" line. Every single one just stopped, no bang or smoke, like a light switch flipped off. I don't even test them anymore, I just pull them and toss them straight in the recycle bin.
