I tried that new thermal paste from Arctic versus the old generic stuff and wow
Had a client's gaming rig overheating in my shop in Austin, so I swapped out the cheap paste for MX-6. The CPU temps dropped by 15 degrees Celsius under load, just from that one change. It's crazy how much a quality compound matters for those high-end builds. Anyone else have a go-to paste they swear by for tough thermal cases?

Man it's just like tires on a car - people cheap out on the little things that make the BIGGEST difference. Good paste is worth every penny for any serious build.

Oh I don't know @coleman.derek, I've used the cheap stuff for years and my temps are fine.
