Checked out a repair shop in Tulsa and their test bench setup made my eye twitch
Every machine they pulled apart had screws tossed into one shared coffee mug, and when I asked how they track which screw goes to which laptop, the guy shrugged and said 'we just remember, so has anyone else walked into a shop like that and quietly backed out?
Had a buddy who worked at a phone repair kiosk in the mall and his "system" was just a big plastic tub he dumped every loose part into, then dug through like a raccoon whenever a phone came back. He lasted about four months before the owner found out he was swapping in random screws that were "close enough." Pretty sure that tub is still haunting some poor iPhone somewhere.
