That dead zone off the Jersey coast got way worse since 2019

Was doing a pipeline inspection near the Sandy Hook shipping lanes last month and the visibility was trash at 40 feet, like 2 feet of viz and tons of jellyfish. The current pushed me around 3 knots so I burned through my bottom time fast. Anyone else seeing more marine debris or murkier water on the east coast jobs this season?
