Spent 4 hours trying to unscrew a flange that turned out to be welded on

The whole crew was watching me from the surface feed camera, and the client's rep finally radioed down, 'Uh, Riley, the drawings from '98 show a weld symbol right there.' Anyone else ever get fooled by old paperwork like that?

Man, that's brutal. Honestly, this happens everywhere, not just with old blueprints. I've seen people follow outdated instructions for hours, like trying to assemble furniture with the wrong manual. It's like the info exists just to waste your time.

@casey_campbell yeah it's the same with recipes online you gotta scroll through a whole life story to find the actual ingredient list.
