PSA: The 'snipe' in the dive shack at Port Fourchon turned out to be a 3 ft barracuda living under the hot water heater
Swore I saw something move while I was rinsing my suit after a job on Tuesday, and three of us spent 20 minutes poking around with a broom handle before it poked its head out. Anyone else sharing a locker room with local wildlife, or is it just my dock?
Heard a guy on a dive forum down in Florida talk about finding a small grouper in the rinse tank at his shop. It had been living there for weeks, just sitting at the bottom looking like a rock until somebody went to dump the tank. They ended up netting it and moving it back to the canal. Barracuda under a water heater is a new one though, those things have teeth and they get mean when they feel cornered.
