PSA: cheap backup light almost cost me my dive last month
Grabbed a $45 LED backup off Amazon for a job near Galveston. It died 20 minutes into a 3 hour bottom time on a pipeline inspection, total blackout in the murk. Spent $140 on a proper UK Light Cannon after that, never cheap out on backup lighting again. Anyone else get burned by budget gear when it counted most?
