Warning: my longbox shelf collapsed during a reread marathon
Last Saturday I was pulling out my old X-Men run and the whole shelf just gave way, 40 longboxes dumped across my living room floor in 3 seconds. Took me 4 hours to sort everything back by issue number, and now I'm paranoid about weight limits. Anyone else had a storage setup fail at the worst possible moment?

That "4 hours to sort everything" part hits different, cause honestly that's the part that would make me want to give up. But what I'm really curious about is how those longboxes were stacked, were they on those cheap wire shelves or a solid wood unit? Cause that makes a huge difference in whether this is a one time fluke or if you're looking at a repeat disaster every time you even breathe near the stack.
