Tried the 'read the wiki first' advice for a 90s X-Men crossover and it saved my weekend
Everyone says you have to hunt down every single issue, but I just read a detailed plot summary online before diving into the main event. Has anyone else found a shortcut that actually works for dense comic arcs?

My friend swears by those "explained in five minutes" videos for big comic events.

Explained in five minutes" videos are good, but a podcast recap while you drive is my secret.

Totally used to be a completionist about this stuff. Graymiller's podcast idea is smart, I might try that next time. The wiki trick is a game changer for sure.
