My entire longbox of 90s X-Men comics collapsed during a move last month.

The bottom gave out and I spent three hours sorting 300 issues off my apartment floor. Anyone have a better storage solution than those old cardboard boxes?

Yeah, those longboxes are a disaster waiting to happen. I switched to the plastic short boxes years ago and they've held up perfectly.

Oh man, @terry_mitchell, "disaster waiting to happen" is right! I had a longbox in my old closet that just gave out one day, like a sad cardboard pancake. All my X-Men from the 90s were in a heap. That was the day I finally made the switch too.
