I used to roll my eyes at the people who judge comic art lines

But after staring at a Frankenstein page from the 50s next to a modern variant cover in my LCS last week, I finally see what they mean about clean vs. messy inking. You guys notice a big difference in how line weights feel across eras or is it mostly nostalgia talking?

@wadeyoung's wrong though, digital lets modern inkers fix lines that old inkers botched with shaky hands.

Nope, 70s bronze age inking blows away modern sloppy digital linework.
