You said everyone just enjoys them now, but I'm not fully buying it. Remember how people lost their minds over Spider-Man's organic webs in the Raimi films, or Deadpool's mouth being sewn shut in Wolverine? Those were full on wars in the shop. Is it really more enjoyment now, or have we just given up on movies sticking close to the books? What changed to make people stop caring about those details?

Yeah, those shop wars were something else. Guess we all ran out of energy to care about organic webs.

What changed, you think? Maybe like @theoliver said, we burned out, or just got used to movies doing their own thing. Hard to stay mad when the stuff is still fun to watch.
