TIL traffic light designers actually account for color blindness
Was reading about signal design last night. Turns out they don't rely on red and green alone. They position lights top/bottom or use brightness differences too. Found it on a DOT fact sheet after my colorblind buddy in Phoenix said he never had trouble driving. That got me curious. Anyone else look up how everyday things are designed for us without noticing?
