The parking garage in Denver uses red and green lights on every level and I sat there for 2 minutes
I was at a garage near 16th Street in Denver a few days ago and every open spot had a small red or green light above it. Problem is I can't tell those two apart, so the whole system was useless to me. I ended up driving up and down three levels squinting at dots while cars waited behind me. A guy finally waved me into a spot and I still don't know if the light over it was red or green. Do other garages use something besides red and green for this, or is there a trick people use?
A few Denver garages have switched to blue and white or added little "OPEN" signs on each spot, so asking the garage to swap the lights might actually work. Doing that also helps the rest of us, since half the time I can't tell if a light is even on from across the ramp.
