Shoutout to the city park map that finally got its trail markers right

They swapped the red and green dots for triangles and squares, and my buddy who's red-green colorblind said he could actually follow it for the first time. Anyone else notice a public design that recently fixed a basic color issue?

Honestly I used to think those color-coded maps were fine... but hearing your buddy's story really shows how much it matters. It's crazy how something so simple like swapping shapes can make a place actually work for everyone. Makes me look at all those bus route maps and subway lines differently now... they really should test this stuff with more people.

Tell me about it (my cousin's colorblind and gets lost on the subway all the time). Susan's right, it's wild they were just dots before.
