Serious question, did I just burn $75 on a colorblind sim app that lied to me?
Back in 2019 I was doing UI work in Austin and I dropped $75 on a colorblind simulator app because the demo looked great. Turned out it only covered two types of color blindness and the reds and greens were way off from what my deuteranopia coworker actually sees. She looked at my screen and said the buttons still blended together, so I was designing for a fake version of her the whole time. What free or cheap tools do you all trust for checking your palettes for real? I don't want to make that mistake twice.
