PSA: Stop using red and green on data charts entirely

I spent 3 years making dashboards with red-green color schemes for a logistics company in Nashville. A warehouse manager finally told me he couldn't tell which trucks were delayed and which were on time - he's colorblind. Switched to blue-orange that same day and he actually laughed.

Man, same thing happened at my old job and swapping to blue-orange fixed everything instantly.

Pfft, I dunno man. "Fixed everything instantly?" Feels like one of those things where you swap one set of problems for another and just don't notice it yet. Like, my buddy painted his whole workshop that same color and a week later he was complaining about how weird the light looked. Maybe it just felt faster because you finally changed something.
