My old mentor swore by blue/orange combos, big mistake
My design teacher at Austin Community College drilled "just use blue and orange, colorblind people can see that" for 2 semesters. Last month I tested my poster on a friend with deuteranopia and he couldn't tell the chart lines apart. Why do so many guides still push high-contrast pairs instead of actual pattern or texture cues?
