I thought those colorblind simulators were just a gimmick until I tested a dashboard I designed and the key metric was invisible.

Been there. Made a whole chart where the "urgent" line was bright green. My colorblind buddy asked why I was celebrating all the bad numbers. Felt like a real genius that day.
