Can we talk about those online charts that use only red and green?

I was trying to read a sales chart at work yesterday and it took me 15 minutes to figure out which line was up and which was down. I'm red-green colorblind and they looked almost the same. I had to ask my coworker, Jake, to point it out. Has anyone found a good tool for checking charts before you send them out?

Tell me about it. My last boss sent out a pie chart where the red and green slices looked identical to me. I had to guess which part was our biggest expense. @dixon.rose has the right idea with those simulators. I run everything through a free one now before any meeting. It shows you what your graph looks like to different types of colorblind people. It saved me from sending a totally confusing bar chart to our whole team last week.
