Went to a coffee shop and their menu colors made me dizzy
Stopped by Brew & Grind downtown yesterday and their wall menu used bright red text on a neon green background. I literally had to squint to read the prices. Has anyone else seen a menu that made your eyes hurt?

I counted 14 different fonts on a menu at a place called The Daily Grind last month. It looked like a ransom note. But I just squinted a bit and ordered my drink. Honestly, is it that serious? You could have just stepped back from the counter for two seconds and looked at your phone to see the menu if they have one online. Or asked the barista what they recommend. Making a scene about a loud color scheme feels like you were looking for something to complain about. Maybe the owner just has terrible taste, not a secret plan to make you order faster.

...and the worst part was there was a line of people behind me so I couldn't just walk away. I ended up ordering a black coffee I didn't even want just to get out of there. The barista looked at me like I was crazy when I said "whatever is cheapest." They've gotta have some colorblind folks working there or something, because nobody on staff thought that was a bad idea? I'm half convinced they did it on purpose to make people order faster.
