Question about picking the right accent wall color for a north facing room

My sister has a north facing living room and she painted it a deep navy blue and honestly it looks great. I mean everyone online acts like north facing rooms are the end of the world but really it just means you need to think about the undertones more. You can totally do dark colors if you want, just pick something with warm undertones instead of cool ones. Maybe test a few samples on the wall first and see how they look at different times of day before you commit. idk, it just feels like people overcomplicate this stuff sometimes.

Wait, north facing? So like basically no direct sunlight at all in that room? That changes everything for color choices... dark colors might just make it look like a cave.
