Painted my shop walls flat white instead of the trendy gray, and now I can actually see my color swatches
Last spring I repainted the north wall of my garage flat white (Behr Ultra Pure White, $28 a gallon at Home Depot) because the gray I picked in 2022 was sucking all the life out of every sample I taped up, and suddenly colors that looked muddy on gray popped clean against the white, so what are you all using as a neutral backdrop for judging swatches under real light?
