I do freelance branding work and kept getting the same complaint: my purples looked blue on other people's screens. I assumed it was a monitor calibration issue and dropped $240 on a calibrator, which barely helped. At my yearly eye exam last March, my optometrist ran a color test and said I had a mild red-green deficiency I never knew about. I sat in her office in Boise feeling dumb while she explained that two of my clients were probably seeing exactly what I intended. Has anyone else run into this, where the problem was you the whole time and not your setup?
