I just hit 50 different shades of blue for a single client's brand guide

It was for a marine tech startup in Miami, and they kept saying 'more ocean, but not too dark'. After three rounds of changes, I had to build a whole new palette just for them (which felt a bit much, you know?). Has anyone else had a client ask for one color in so many tiny, picky ways?

Fifty blues for one ocean" sounds like a weird way to track something. I have no idea what that even means. Is this about some game or a puzzle?

3 years of contracting taught me that "fifty blues for one ocean" is code for 50 tubs of blue cleaner for one commercial pool job. Sounds like someone finally got their pricing right.
