I finally saw how color contrast makes text easier to read on screens.
I was struggling with a website design where the text blended in. After changing the colors, the bounce rate dropped a lot. It's a small win that really showed me the value of color theory.

I always thought it was mostly about looks, but you really see the difference when numbers change, right?

Wait, you mean you were just picking colors cause they looked nice before? That's wild lol. I can't believe how many sites must be out there with this same basic problem. It's crazy that something so simple can actually change the bounce rate that much. Makes you wonder what other easy fixes people are missing.

Right? I used to think my taste was just that good. Turns out my favorite colors were basically a "leave now" sign for half my visitors. The ego check was real.
